"You should see me naked you would change your mind. It (baby weight) comes off slowly....you just don't look like this! It's hard work!"

Top 5 Celebrities Who Need to Enter Rehab

Now that Lindsay Lohan is officially in rehab, I’ve been thinking about what other celebrities need to seek professional help. So here is my list of the top five celebrities in no particular order who need to enter rehab as soon as possible.

  1. Britney Spears- We all know she has perfected the southern trashy look but maybe she is not completely in a sober state of mind when she goes out looking so tacky. Plus having two babies under two years of age and a cheating husband who you have to pay alimony to is bound to make any woman seek comfort in illegal drugs or alcohol.
  2. Tara Reid- I am surprised she still has a liver. It seems that she love booze and partying above everything else even her career. I think her health is in serious jeopardy.
  3. Paula Abdul- Lethargic and annoying, no one who watches American Idol on a regular basis can actually believe she is 100% sober.
  4. Mary-Kate Olsen- We all know she is starving herself but come on she must take some sort of illegal appetite suppressant in order to maintain her twig like physique.
  5. Kate Moss- I am starting to think maybe her love of drugs is what is keeping her relationship with Pete Doherty in tact.

Doing Good Deeds Pays

I started school again this week and the classes are real grueling. So today after my last class I was just eager to get home so I could relax. Anyways as I was packing up my stuff getting ready to leave I noticed a young guy who sat a few rows away from me asking the people around him if they would mind sharing their notes with him because he was a little hard of hearing and his notes were not that good. To my surprise everyone he asked said no and I really felt bad for the guy so I walked up to him, introduced myself and explained that I would be willing to share my notes with him.

“That’s great” he said.
“But you’ll need to go to this room and fill out a few forms first.”

I was kind of perplexed and a little annoyed that I would have to go through all that trouble just to share my notes with him but I reluctantly agreed to go. When I got to the room there was a huge line and my mood quickly soured but I waited patiently for like 20 minutes until I got to the front of the line. As I was explaining my situation to the secretary, she casually said,

“Did he tell you that you will be getting paid for this?”
“I am getting paid to share my notes?”
“Yes but we ran out of forms so you are going to have to come back tomorrow.”

So waiting in line was not a total waste of my time but now all I am wondering is why he did not mention anything about getting paid to the other people he was asking?

What Is Your World View?

Your World View
You are a fairly broadminded romantic and reasonably content.
You value kindness and try to live by your ideals.
You have strong need for security, which may be either emotional or material.

You respect truth and are flexible.
You like people, and they can readily make friends with you.
You are not very adventurous, but this does not bother you.
What Is Your World View?

The Damage Is Done

Can Britney Spears' image get any worse? If she were smart she would do a small stint in rehab, blame her sloppy image on drugs and alcohol and debut a new clean and sobber image in People magazine.

Book Review: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

As always I managed to gain a few pounds over the holidays. So this year I decided to use some of my Christmas money to buy a good, long book to read while exercising on the treadmill. Yes I know listening to music would be a more plausible option to make the time on the treadmill go by faster but I got bored of all of the music on my IPod and I am too lazy to search for new music.

Now when searching for a book I normally would go straight for the horror section but this time I decided to try something different. I searched for a book in the teen romance section (yes I know I am still a teen at heart) and to my surprise I found one that caught my eye. At over 500 pages this book was more than long enough to keep me entertained for a few days and the cover stated that it was a New York Times best seller. Sold! I bought the book right on the spot.

Ironically only when I got home and read some more comments on the books jacket did I realize it was a horror-romance novel. New York Times called it “Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful a love story with a bite.” It figures the only time I am not searching for a horror book I managed to buy one anyways. Intrigued I decided to read the first chapter to see if it was really as good as it was claiming to be.

The first chapter was not bad but hardly a page turner. Bella a young girl moves from Phoenix into a small Washington town called Forks. She has to begin her Junior year of high school at a new school were people treat her like an oddity. The only good thing about the school is a good-looking, rebellious boy named Edward who she becomes instantly attracted to. Although people warn her to stay away from him she becomes dangerously drawn to him. Only when she is head over heels in love with him does she find out he is a vampire looking for his next meal.

I really enjoyed this book so much I finished reading it within the first two days. It is not as good as Ann Rice but it is just as entertaining. For those of you who don’t like reading horror novels I heard it is going to be made into a movie soon but since MTV bought the rights to it I doubt it will be any good.
